These stunning antique pieces are some of the oldest iron fence railings I’ve had the pleasure of sourcing to bring back to NZ.
They’re dated late 1800's/very early 1900's. Simply stunning craftsmanship with each piece having been painstakingly crafted by hand. The iron is beautifully pitted due to its age. Stunning in the garden in the middle of a border, a support for a rambling rose or back railing in the vegetable garden.
These were also bought at auction in Norfolk.
a/f each panel has an age quirk e.g. one finial is missing one scroll to the side (please check the photo) Considering the age they're in great antique condition.
