1950's Pair of Reconstituted Stone Pineapple Gate Piers

NZ$2,200.00

An absolutely stunning pair of weathered reconstituted Pineapple Gate Piers from a country house in Rye, East Sussex but originated in Crete and are dated 1950's.
Each Cone has a corner missing (as shown in photo). This damage was caused when they were removed from their original gates before arriving in England.
They both sit on elegant tiered cast low plinths that are also beautifully aged.
Whether you place them at your driveway entrance, either side of garden steps or raised up on tall plinths at the end of a tree lined walkway, they'll grab your attention.
Quintessential English gardenalia.
