This antique hand forged iron garden bench seat from Staffordshire is an absolute delight and oozes character.
It's beautifully detailed with the elegant scrolling design on the back. The scroll detail continues to the unique cross-stretcher and the double scrolled feet. The armrest has the comfortable curve for your arm and the bench legs are the iconic Cabriole design.
We have added new wooden slats for the seat. They're repurposed antique English Oak floor boards that we purchased while in the UK.
The time worn dual paint patina shows in places the pitting of the iron. This is to be expected after sitting out in the elements for the past century!
This is a gorgeous unique heavy garden bench that will enhance any garden space for at least another century. It's perfect for the spot where you can stop, sit and ponder, admire your creativity or the view.
It is heavy.
a/f one of the curves on the back has come away from the top of the frame. It's not structural damage only cosmetic and has been wired neatly in one spot.
