1950's set of galvanised zinc tubs originally used for laundry washing, one tub for washing and the other for rinsing. This is great set with the original stand on castors so easy to move about.
The tubs have great ribbed detailing, are slightly tapered and a great size and depth making for perfect herb planters, mini vegetable containers, you can imagine the tomatoes trailing over the side. Ideal for a smaller garden space.
Both have their outlet pipes which are aged, one has the shut-off lever (these acted as the plug for draining the water). We’ve included rubber stoppers to make them watertight making them perfect to used as an outdoor salad/vegetable wash station or a brilliant unique double party ice bucket!
The stand is marked REEVES and has the two original soap dishes.
