This is an absolutely stunning John Wright of Apples, Gascoigne’s Seedling and Sandringham with blossom dated 1896.

John Wright was a horticulturist in the 1890’s. He was editor of the London Journal of Horticulture and created hight quality guides to fruit, vegetables and flowers. He employed excellent botanical artists (often women which was unusual for the time). The resulting lithographs are vivid and lifelike.

Includes mat board, unframed.
