SOLD - Late 1800's Cast Iron Tall Screen
An extremely heavy antique cast iron gate. It’s the second half of what would have been an amazing set of gates. The iron workmanship alone is beautiful and this with the design it’s something quite special.
A unique piece of art that would look amazing hanging on an outdoor or indoor wall, visual screening in the garden or a striking focal point at the end of a tree lined walkway. You could also place in the garden to use as a support for a special climber.
A gorgeous piece with an aged patina that ranges from three layers of paint through to the iron, all of which adds to its big presence.
As it’s one of a pair it doesn’t have a latch, just the receiving slot. There are no hinges currently, these can be made if required.
