SOLD - Vintage English Iron Cellar Door
A vintage cellar door in a classical design. It has lovely rolled one piece vertical bars that run through the middle horizontal.
The diagonal iron brace is uniquely fastened by two half round iron loops, a lovely detail. It also has a slot for a latch to slide into and has both hinges.
This tall gate is perfect as a side gate to the house, a walkway or entrance, as a screen that allows you to see through to the view beyond. It would look fabulous between two hedges of the same height.
Cellar doors also add character and are practical indoors.
NB. the bent bar in the photo has been straightened.
