As soon as you lift this antique cast iron doorstop you instantly get a sense of the weight of the doors these were used to keep open, it's very heavy.
It has a wonderful English green paint patina and great details of the lady, gentleman and dog. I especially love the detail of how the gentleman has his arms around both lady and dog.
This would also make a great book end as it's so heavy.
